From Viborg it is about 67 miles to Springfield. Take 81 to Yankton. Then from the State Hospital take HWY 52 west about 19 miles. There is a large sign for the prison. Turn south at the sign and follow the road to HWY 37. Turn south into Springfield. The entrance to the prison is on North Wood Street.

An alternate route is to simply take HWY 52 west straight to HWY 37 and drive south to Springfield.

You need to be at the prison by 5:45 to 5:50 p.m.
